The Pittsburgh Steelers are preparing for the 2023 NFL season without Ben Roethlisberger, who retired after 18 seasons with the team.

The Steelers have named Mason Rudolph as their starting quarterback for the 2023 season. Rudolph has been with the Steelers since 2018 and has served as Roethlisberger's backup.

He has also started four games in his career, compiling a record of 1-3. The Steelers also have Dwayne Haskins on their roster.

Haskins was drafted by the Washington Commanders in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, but he was released by the team in December 2021. The Steelers signed Haskins in May 2022.
